• All Wellness claims are reimbursed based on the method you set up in your account, which is a required step before you can process your first claim. See below for instructions:

    1. Navigate to your “Account” settings (or click on the profile icon in the top right in the mobile app).

    2. Click on “Wellness Reimbursements.”

    3. Select your preferred choice of reimbursement method (Venmo, Paypal, or bank transfer through Plaid).

    Please note that Plaid is a third party tool that connects to your bank account and allows for direct payments. While your banking info is required to set up this method of reimbursement, neither Plaid nor Wagmo will store your login or password to your bank.

  • Reimbursement for Insurance claims are handled a little differently. Once a claim is ready to be reimbursed, you will receive an email asking how you would like to receive funds. The options are Paypal, ACH bank transfer, or a physical check. You will need to respond to that email within seven business days or a check will be mailed to the address we have on file.

  • Log in to your Wagmo dashboard at wagmo.io and select "Make A Claim." From there, you simply need to upload a picture of your invoices with an itemized list of procedures as well as medical history, and we'll handle the rest.

  • Your claim must include:

    1. Name of the service provider.

    2. Date and time of the appointment. If the vet invoice doesn’t include the time, please also include a photo with a credit card receipt.

    3. An itemized receipt with the total cost of everything, including taxes and proof of payment.

  • Wagmo Wellness claims are processed within 24 hours! You will receive a notification of payment as soon as the claim is reviewed.

    Wagmo Insurance claims are processed as promptly as possible. You will receive a notification of your insurance claim via email when it is submitted and when it is finalized. Once the claim is ready to be paid, you will receive an email asking how you would like to be reimbursed.

    Be sure to keep an eye out for emails from our team if the claims are missing any required information, as this can delay processing time or lead to rejection.

  • Please be aware that Wagmo reimburses for paid items. Estimates, partially paid and open invoices without proof of payment may be subject to be rejected.
