You may have noticed things keep evolving at Wagmo. You’re right and we owe you an explanation. Let us offer some context around what the f is going on here at Wagmo:

Making sure that Wagmo members and their fur family stay protected

Wagmo is a startup! For those that didn’t know, we are a brand new company launched just last year out of Harvard Business School. Part of the cool thing about being a startup is that you get to create something from scratch. The downside of that is that you’re often wrong and need to re-calibrate. While we are unwavering in our mission to help you keep your pets healthy, we have a lot of learning to do along the way.

For instance, if you came across us in our very early days you may have seen our beta product: our Basic and Fancy plans. After releasing that product, we did a considerable amount of testing and interviewing users and decided to adjust from there. We found out our pricing was pretty far off, and the coverage wasn’t quite what people needed. I would love to be able to say we’ve figured out exactly what you all need and will never change again...but the reality is our customers’ needs are constantly changing, and as a customer-first company we are committed to continuously evolving to meet them.

What does this mean for Wagmo? Constantly challenging our assumptions and always being prepared to be wrong. We build and release features quickly with the expectation that some of them will surprise and delight our customers, and some will totally bomb. How do we know this? Because of your feedback! When we ask for it, we mean it. Our customers truly are shaping the future of Wagmo, so keep the feedback coming.

What does this mean for you? Wagmo is built around your needs. We are not a giant insurance company here to leech your money. We are a scrappy team of pet-obsessed nerds ready to change the status quo. And that means more changes are coming. Some you’ll love, some you’ll hate. In either event, please let us know!

Things are changing fast here and we’re going to be pushing out updates to you as soon as we have them. Going forward you can check out our blog for updates on the team, the company progress, and cool new features we’re testing / pulling back.
